What is the Wind Speed?
Wind Speed is a fundamental atmospheric quantity caused by air moving from high to low pressure, usually due to changes in temperature. Wind Speed is usually measured using the Meter per Second for Speed. Note that the value of Wind Speed is always positive.
Can the Wind Speed be negative?
No, the Wind Speed, measured in Speed cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Wind Speed?
Wind Speed is usually measured using the Meter per Second[m/s] for Speed. Meter per Minute[m/s], Meter per Hour[m/s], Kilometer per Hour[m/s] are the few other units in which Wind Speed can be measured.
