FAQ

What is the Transmissivity?
Transmissivity is the rate at which groundwater flows horizontally through an aquifer or the degree to which a medium allows something, in particular electromagnetic radiation, to pass through it. Transmissivity is usually measured using the Square Meter per Second for Kinematic Viscosity. Note that the value of Transmissivity is always negative.
Can the Transmissivity be negative?
Yes, the Transmissivity, measured in Kinematic Viscosity can be negative.
What unit is used to measure Transmissivity?
Transmissivity is usually measured using the Square Meter per Second[m²/s] for Kinematic Viscosity. Square Meter per Hour[m²/s], Square Centimeter per Second[m²/s], Square Millimeter per Second[m²/s] are the few other units in which Transmissivity can be measured.
