FAQ

What is the Transmissibility?
Transmissibility is most simply defined as the effective hydraulic conductivity of an aquifer or other water-bearing unit multiplied by the thickness of that unit. Transmissibility is usually measured using the Square Meter per Second for Kinematic Viscosity. Note that the value of Transmissibility is always negative.
Can the Transmissibility be negative?
Yes, the Transmissibility, measured in Kinematic Viscosity can be negative.
What unit is used to measure Transmissibility?
Transmissibility is usually measured using the Square Meter per Second[m²/s] for Kinematic Viscosity. Square Meter per Hour[m²/s], Square Centimeter per Second[m²/s], Square Millimeter per Second[m²/s] are the few other units in which Transmissibility can be measured.
