FAQ

What is the Total Voltage?
Total Voltage refers to the voltage supplied across the entire resistive element of the potentiometer, usually between the two end terminals. Total Voltage is usually measured using the Volt for Electric Potential. Note that the value of Total Voltage is always positive.
Can the Total Voltage be negative?
No, the Total Voltage, measured in Electric Potential cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Total Voltage?
Total Voltage is usually measured using the Volt[V] for Electric Potential. Millivolt[V], Microvolt[V], Nanovolt[V] are the few other units in which Total Voltage can be measured.
