What is the Tidal Current?
Tidal Current is the water current produced by tidal forces that occur in conjunction with the rise and fall of the tide. Tidal Current is usually measured using the Meter per Second for Speed. Note that the value of Tidal Current is always positive.
Can the Tidal Current be negative?
No, the Tidal Current, measured in Speed cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Tidal Current?
Tidal Current is usually measured using the Meter per Second[m/s] for Speed. Meter per Minute[m/s], Meter per Hour[m/s], Kilometer per Hour[m/s] are the few other units in which Tidal Current can be measured.
