FAQ

What is the Supply Frequency?
Supply Frequency means Induction motors are designed for a specific voltage per frequency ratio (V/Hz). The voltage is called the supply voltage and the frequency is called the ’Supply Frequency’. Supply Frequency is usually measured using the Hertz for Frequency. Note that the value of Supply Frequency is always positive.
Can the Supply Frequency be negative?
No, the Supply Frequency, measured in Frequency cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Supply Frequency?
Supply Frequency is usually measured using the Hertz[Hz] for Frequency. Petahertz[Hz], Terahertz[Hz], Gigahertz[Hz] are the few other units in which Supply Frequency can be measured.
