Stream Velocity is the speed of the water in the stream. It is greatest in midstream near the surface and is slowest along the stream bed and banks due to friction. Stream Velocity is usually measured using the Meter per Second for Speed. Note that the value of Stream Velocity is always positive.
Can the Stream Velocity be negative?
No, the Stream Velocity, measured in Speed cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Stream Velocity?
