FAQ

What is the Reactance?
Reactance describes the opposition that an element (such as a capacitor or inductor) presents to the flow of alternating current (AC). Reactance is usually measured using the Ohm for Electric Resistance. Note that the value of Reactance is always positive.
Can the Reactance be negative?
No, the Reactance, measured in Electric Resistance cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Reactance?
Reactance is usually measured using the Ohm[Ω] for Electric Resistance. Megohm[Ω], Microhm[Ω], Volt per Ampere[Ω] are the few other units in which Reactance can be measured.
