FAQ

What is the Rain Attenuation?
Rain attenuation is a function of rain rate. By rain rate is meant the rate at which rainwater would accumulate in a rain gauge. Rain Attenuation is usually measured using the Decibel for Sound. Note that the value of Rain Attenuation is always positive.
Can the Rain Attenuation be negative?
No, the Rain Attenuation, measured in Sound cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Rain Attenuation?
Rain Attenuation is usually measured using the Decibel[dB] for Sound. Bel[dB], Neper[dB] are the few other units in which Rain Attenuation can be measured.
