FAQ

What is the Path Loss?
Path Loss refers to the attenuation in signal strength as it propagates through the atmosphere and free space between the satellite and the receiving antenna on the ground. Path Loss is usually measured using the Decibel for Sound. Note that the value of Path Loss is always positive.
Can the Path Loss be negative?
No, the Path Loss, measured in Sound cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Path Loss?
Path Loss is usually measured using the Decibel[dB] for Sound. Bel[dB], Neper[dB] are the few other units in which Path Loss can be measured.
