FAQ

What is the Inflow Rate?
Inflow Rate for a given catchment area is the average volume of incoming water in unit time at any interval of time of the day. Inflow Rate is usually measured using the Cubic Meter per Second for Volumetric Flow Rate. Note that the value of Inflow Rate is always positive.
Can the Inflow Rate be negative?
No, the Inflow Rate, measured in Volumetric Flow Rate cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Inflow Rate?
Inflow Rate is usually measured using the Cubic Meter per Second[m³/s] for Volumetric Flow Rate. Cubic Meter per Day[m³/s], Cubic Meter per Hour[m³/s], Cubic Meter per Minute[m³/s] are the few other units in which Inflow Rate can be measured.
