What is the Distance x?
Distance x is the length from midpoint to a point anywhere in long chord where offset need to be drawn for setting out the curve. Distance x is usually measured using the Meter for Length. Note that the value of Distance x is always positive.
Can the Distance x be negative?
No, the Distance x, measured in Length cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Distance x?
Distance x is usually measured using the Meter[m] for Length. Millimeter[m], Kilometer[m], Decimeter[m] are the few other units in which Distance x can be measured.
