The Discharge through Orifice refers to the opening, of any size or shape, in a pipe or at the bottom or side wall of a container (water tank, reservoir, etc.), through which fluid is discharged. Discharge through Orifice is usually measured using the Cubic Meter per Second for Volumetric Flow Rate. Note that the value of Discharge through Orifice is always positive.
