Denier count is the direct count of fibers following the denier as unit of count in yarn count. Denier Count is usually measured using the Gram per Meter for Linear Mass Density. Note that the value of Denier Count is always positive. Typically, the value of Denier Count is greater than 0.

No, the Denier Count, measured in Linear Mass Density cannot be negative.
