FAQ

What is the Crushing stress?
Crushing stress is a special type of localized compressive stress which occurs at the surface of contact of two members that are relatively at rest. Crushing stress is usually measured using the Megapascal for Pressure. Note that the value of Crushing stress is always positive. Typically, the value of Crushing stress is greater than 0.
Can the Crushing stress be negative?
No, the Crushing stress, measured in Pressure cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Crushing stress?
Crushing stress is usually measured using the Megapascal[MPa] for Pressure. Pascal[MPa], Kilopascal[MPa], Bar[MPa] are the few other units in which Crushing stress can be measured.
