FAQ

What is the Body Force?
Body force refers to a type of pressure gradient that acts directly on the mass itself. This may be due to some physical parameters like acceleration due to gravity, electromagnetic field etc. Body Force is usually measured using the Newton per Cubic Meter for Pressure Gradient. Note that the value of Body Force is always positive.
Can the Body Force be negative?
No, the Body Force, measured in Pressure Gradient cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Body Force?
Body Force is usually measured using the Newton per Cubic Meter[N/m³] for Pressure Gradient. Newton per Cubic Inch[N/m³], Kilonewton per Cubic Kilometer[N/m³], Newton per Cubic Kilometer[N/m³] are the few other units in which Body Force can be measured.
