FAQ

What is the Base Voltage?
Base Voltage s the voltage difference between the base terminal and the emitter terminal. It is one of the three terminal voltages of a BJT, along with the collector voltage and the emitter voltage. Base Voltage is usually measured using the Volt for Electric Potential. Note that the value of Base Voltage is always positive.
Can the Base Voltage be negative?
No, the Base Voltage, measured in Electric Potential cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Base Voltage?
Base Voltage is usually measured using the Volt[V] for Electric Potential. Millivolt[V], Microvolt[V], Nanovolt[V] are the few other units in which Base Voltage can be measured.
