The angle of elevation in satellite communication refers to the vertical angle between the horizontal plane and a line connecting an Earth-based satellite dish or antenna to a satellite in space. Angle of Elevation is usually measured using the Degree for Angle. Note that the value of Angle of Elevation is always positive. Typically, the value of Angle of Elevation is smaller than 90.
