FAQ

What is the Altitude?
Altitude, like elevation, is the distance above sea level. Areas are often considered "high-altitude" if they reach at least 2,400 meters (8,000 feet) into the atmosphere. Altitude is usually measured using the Meter for Length. Note that the value of Altitude is always positive.
Can the Altitude be negative?
No, the Altitude, measured in Length cannot be negative.
What unit is used to measure Altitude?
Altitude is usually measured using the Meter[m] for Length. Millimeter[m], Kilometer[m], Decimeter[m] are the few other units in which Altitude can be measured.
